Adaptive Movements provides fitness and wellness programs to individuals and businesses in our community. We offer fitness classes to children and adults with special needs, including learning, developmental and physical disabilities, fitness classes in condominium buildings and corporate wellness programs. We offer our services to people who are looking for an alternative fitness and exercise experience. We have created a unique approach to fitness and wellness programs by adapting our programs to suit the needs and lifestyles of our clients.
Angela McDonald, founder of Adaptive Movements is a certified Pilates instructor with an Honours B.Sc. degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. She has taught mat work and reformer Pilates classes to people of all ages and abilities for over seven years. She is currently working towards her M.Sc. degree in Stem Cell Biology. Her background in the Health Sciences has provided her with the tools and ideas to offer her clients the most creative alternatives for health and wellness.
With strong values in health, community, creativity, innovation, social consciousness and sustainability, Adaptive Movements strives to uphold these standards in all of the services we deliver. Our goal is to exist as a socially conscious partner in our community. We strive to minimize our environmental footprint and encourage our clients, community and employees to do the same by providing resources and tips on how to do so in the Living Green section of our website. To share our values with others we provide a wide range of fitness and wellness opportunities throughout our community.
