Melissa Bathory (also known as missb) hates riding public transit because she can't stand being surrounded by poorly designed ads. The bad typography, poor kerning and inneffective branding was enough to inspire her to focus her attention on producing fresh quality design solutions for print, interactive and web. She's been working in the industry for 7 years, has a love affair with her MacBook Pro and hasn't used Microsoft Paint since grade 2.

Before Melissa dedicated herself to designing, she worked as a professional musician and actress for many years. She's released a few albums, performed along side The Black Eyed Peas, got props from Queen Latifah, won some songwriting awards and toured the USA. As a kid she appeared on Goosebumps and receives emails to this day from 14 year old boys in Turkey wondering if she's that girl from that kids show.

Melissa currently lives in a loft in Toronto with her boyfriend, his dog and her two crazy cats.
