  • Responsibilities include designing course interfaces and prototypes to display functionality, the re-design of corporate branding materials and working with development to implement course content into a Flash environment.
         
July 2006-December 2007   Big Antenna Media: Flash Developer
   
  • After completing various contracts for Big Antenna Media, Melissa was brought on full-time in July of 2007 to create a Flash interface to demo company products and services.
  • Additional responsibilities included integrating audio clips for custom voice recognition avatar, compositing video clips and the removal of green screen backdrops, creation of a magazine template in Adobe InDesign and the design of Powerpoint presentations.
         

January 2005-September 2006

  travelCuts: Junior Designer
   
  • Responsible for the creation & proofing of all newspaper ads for campus and alternative print press across Canada.
  • Worked with tight deadlines to ensure all materials were finalized and delivered to meet print times.
  • Developed web design mock-ups for company website re-launch in 2006.
